What Lights My Fire

I’ll be the first to admit the cold wind, blowing snow and frigid temperatures of winter freeze my brain a little. Then every year around mid-February it starts to thaw and the thought of spring lights a fire under my butt. Help others grow their own food. For a year I have been working on a related project and now it's almost ready. Can’t wait to share it next month, stay tuned.

I have been working on our upcoming workshops, seeing how I can improve them and have real tangible take a-ways. I love teaching and seeing people’s light bulbs go on, but what I really want is for them to apply it at home. That will be the real success.

This year I am taking it a step further and offering on-site consultations. I want to do all I can to help people grow food. It is much easier to help someone bake a cake when you’re in their kitchen as opposed to just handing them a recipe. Gets me off the Farm too, which is always nice. (insert smiley face emoji)

The book is almost done, and I can’t wait to have it published. It's been a real journey compiling all of my thoughts, lessons and experiences. I know it will make people laugh, and make them cry, but most of all, my wish is it get people off their butt and do something that makes them happy. Karate lessons, growing garlic, loosing weight - whatever. It's all about your A, B, C's. Another stay tuned.

The sun is shining bright, as is the future. I am so fired up about all of these projects, each one lighting up the next. What lights your fire?

Do it.
