Two Days Ago I Decided
For months I have written and rewritten the first three chapters of my book. A motivational book using my simple ABC’s to accomplish anything, with our story as an example. Yet here I am full of reservations, going in circles and not moving forward. The words sound rehearsed. It sounds like another magazine article. It was really ticking me off. Two days ago I made a change.
I made a decision to write in MY words, little ol’ me – Katrina, not with my “Kinburn Farms” voice, painting the picture I want you to see. Let me tell you, it’s pretty daunting to take your shield down and bare your bones.
I am a twit. I find gross things funny. I swear. I laugh at myself. I get through the day.
So why do I find it so difficult to share what has really gone on to build our business? Fear. Fear
of judgment. Fear of looking foolish. More than that I believe in being who you are. No explanations, no apologies. Hence the new writing style.
With this shift, the words are now pouring out. Real, hilarious, inspiring uncensored stories of all the shit we have gone through to get to where we are now. I can’t wait to share it with you, and light a fire under your butt to do something you have always wanted to. Stay tuned.
