Learn to Let it Go
I was born built like a brick shit house. I have disliked my shoulders and arms for as long as I can remember. They make me different. People always joke around and call them my “pipes” or “pythons”, all in good fun but it still stings. Thank goodness I have big boobs and long eyelashes I can paint, both which help me feel more feminine.
While so many women work their butts off to build upper body strength, I have avoided weights like the plague. Throwing hay bales and lugging fence posts takes all kinds of muscles so they are useful, but a pain in other ways.
Every time I try on a pretty girl dress that should fit me snugly around the waist, I get it over my head and then hear the seams start to tear. Same goes for fitted coats, sweaters and T-shirts, very annoying. My best summer option is tank tops, which I despise because then I can’t hide my arms at all. Going topless however is simply not an option, I was milked for three years and the ladies aren’t where they once were.
Lately though, I have realized something. The only person who has a problem with my shoulders and arms is me. I am 43 years old and need to get the hell over it already. So I put on my big girl pants and wrote this blog. I am not fishing for compliments, but to remind you that if your insecurities are holding you back from being the best you can be, you just have to learn to let that shit go.
